April 2024: Brown Bag Advocacy Session

Policy Issue Areas for the 89th Legislative Session

Advocacy never takes a break. We are less than nine months away from the next legislative session. Now is the time to develop advocacy priorities and seek support from those who can help achieve those goals!

At RecoveryPeople, we believe it’s crucial to inform and educate policymakers, stakeholders, and the community about issues affecting individuals with substance use and mental health, as well as their families. We are excited to be joined this month by Cynthia Humphrey, the executive director of the Association of Substance Abuse Programs (ASAP) and long time advocacy partner.

Join us on Wednesday, April 17th at 12pm CT, to explore top policy issue areas and priorities in substance use for this upcoming legislative season.

1 hour of CEU’s will be offered. Register Today!

Date: Wednesday, April 17th

Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm CT (1 hr of TCB CEU's available)
