RecoveryPeople implements a range of service programs to further our mission.

Awareness

Education campaigns that influence the recovery community’s and general public’s thinking (e.g., understanding, beliefs or culture) or behavior.

Advocacy

Activities that educate or promote an interest or cause at a systems or policy level.

Workforce Development

Activities (e.g., training) and resources (e.g., scholarships) that support individuals in recovery gain the skills needed to help others and achieve their career goals such obtaining knowledge, credentials or employment.

Organizational Development

Activities (e.g., training) and technical assistance (e.g. consulting and non-finanical resources) that promote the enhancement, expansion and sustainability of peer and recovery organizations.

Research

Activities that result in the creation of new knowledge and/or the use of existing knowledge in a new and creative way so as to generate new concepts, methodologies and understandings.

Fundraising

RecoveryPeople hosts fundraising campaigns and events to further our mission. Although we have got really good a winning grants, those funding streams often do not cover key costs. This is why sponsors and donors are such important partners in helping us build a brighter Texas for person impacted by substance use and other mental health challenges.
