Patient brokering (or body brokering) is a widespread issue that plagues healthcare. The treatment and recovery industries are not immune to these bad players and the issue is only growing.
Join us on January 26th at noon (CT) as we welcome Sherri Layton with TAAP and La Hacienda Treatment Centers and discuss the varying aspects of brokering, what it looks like in Texas and what we can do to stop it.
Sherri Layton oversees the Intensive Outpatient Programs for La Haciendas Austin and College Station locations and advocates for state and national laws that support those in recovery and addiction treatment programs.
She is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, an Advanced Addiction Counselor, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor, and holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
