Recovery Capital Conference

Engage. Educate. Empower.

We have gone Virtual!

RCC virtual courses begin June 4th!

Registration is now open for our June Recovery Capital Conference virtual sessions.  Each Thursday in June, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, we will be offering virtual courses worth 2 hours of TCB approved CEU's. Check out the boxes below for more detailed information on each day's session.

These peer developed and peer delivered courses will help increase all participants knowledge and comprehension of recovery housing, recovery support services and ethical practice in their community.

Please note: You must attend the entire 2 hours and fill out an evaluation at the end of the course to receive your CEU certificate. We will not be able to offer CE's if the entire course is not attended.

Have more questions? Please email our RCC coordinator, Elizabeth Henry at elizabeth.henry@recoverypeople.org

Engage

Help us engage the local recovery community. 1 in 10 adults identify as being in recovery from substances use issues and 1 in 3 households have been impacted by addiction. Together our voices are stronger.

Educate

Texas Certification Board approved continuing education will be provided during the conference.

Empower

By enhancing and expanding regional leadership and infrastructure, we can empower recovery.

What is Recovery Capital?

Recovery Capital refers to the strengths and supports – both internal and external – that are available to a person to help them initiate and sustain long-term recovery from addiction. Recovery Capital can involve such things as a person’s skills and attributes, family and social connections, physical and mental health, a safe place to live, employment and education, and community affiliation. In assisting people to achieve their recovery goals, it is often helpful to help them assess and build their Recovery Capital. The Recovery Capital Conference brings together people in recovery, family members, and allies from diverse communities and organizations to create a strength- based framework of Recovery Capital through shared learning and community-building activities.

Sponsorships are now open!

It takes an incredible amount of resources to offer free learning and community development. Sponsorship comes in many forms. If you or your organization would like to support your community and be a conference sponsor, please contact Elizabeth Henry @ elizabeth.henry@recoverypeople.org.   All sponsors will be contacted directly to obtain your organizations information as to include you in the corresponding conference communications.

Special Thank you to our Sponsors!
