We are excited to offer this excellent opportunity to obtain continuing education in Ethics required for Peer Support Specialists. This is part two of the two-part event. Join us on December 12th at 12:00 PM CT. Details are listed below.

  • Full attendance of both sessions November 14th and December 12th is required for credit (3 continuing education hours)
  • Late arrivals of 15 or more minutes will remove ce option

Course Objectives:

  • Articulate the Significance of Ethical Boundaries: Recognize and appreciate the critical importance of maintaining ethical boundaries within the practice of peer support.
  • Identify and Apply Ethical Standards: Accurately identify and apply the ethical code as outlined by the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals in the context of peer support work.
  • Navigate Dual Relationships and Conflicts of Interest: Define and identify dual relationships, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, privacy, accountability, and the need for informed consent.
