Stephen Vega is a person in long term recovery (over 24 years) and an affected family member. Stephen is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and he has a Masters in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration. He has served as leader in nonprofit mental health and recovery services for the past 6 years: currently as the Program Administrator for LifePath Systems and previously as the Regional Director for The Phoenix and Program Director for Tropical Texas. Prior to his work in the nonprofit space, Stephen worked for federal and state agencies. He was a Program Manager for the Department of Veteran Affairs and an Investigator for the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
