Dr. Dawn Adkins receives RecoveryPeople’s 2023 Change Maker of the Year Award

In recognition of her making significant and positive change to substance use and related mental health recovery research, rights, access, policy or the ecosystem, RecoveryPeople is excited to announce Dr. Dawn Adkins as the recipient of our 2023 Changemaker of the Year Award. This award is part of a RecoveryPeople campaign during National Recovery Month (September) that recognizes leaders in the recovery community.

Dr. Dawn Adkins is the founder and executive director of Radical Restoration Ministries. Dawn speaks in prisons all over the U.S. sharing her testimony. She currently oversees her residential discipleship ranch in Burnet, Texas. Over the past sixteen years she has seen the healing and transformation of thousands of women. Her heart is to see lives changed, families restored and to bring revival to this nation. She is married to Ron Adkins and has three beautiful children and seven amazing grandchildren.
