Peer Workforce

Learn AboutPeer Workforce

RecoveryPeople is dedicated to strengthening the recovery profession and field. Peers -- individuals and family members -- in recovery from mental health and substance use issues have lived experience that makes them uniquely adapt at engaging and supporting others seeking recovery. In addition to this lived experience, peer workers can improve their knowledge, skills and abilities through self-paced, classroom and field training. Plus, peer workers greatly benefit from ongoing workforce development; including supervision, continuing education and learning communities.
