Learn AboutAwareness

RecoveryPeople's awareness campaigns educate the recovery community and general public in order to influence their thinking (e.g., understanding, beliefs or culture) and behavior. Our awareness campaigns aim to:

  • Lower stigma
  • Promote recovery literacy. The degree to which individuals have the ability to find, understand, and use information and services to inform decisions and actions that promote recovery from substance use and related mental health issues for themselves and others
  • Inspire changemakers. Individuals who use their lived experience to help others impacted by substance use and mental health challenges
