Responsibilities

• Provide peer-led support by sharing personal recovery experiences to motivate and inspire clients.
• Assist individuals in developing crisis intervention strategies and managing mental health crises effectively.
• Employ motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavioral change and strengthen motivation for recovery.
• Host weekly peer led groups with curriculum
• Attend monthly sober activity events with youth and young adults
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately to document interactions, progress notes, and service plans.
• Promote harm reduction principles by educating clients on safe practices related to substance use and mental health management.
• Mentor clients through skill-building activities focused on social work principles, addiction counseling, and behavioral health recovery.
