Course Description:

Lived experience is one of the most valuable tools a peer specialist brings to their role, but sharing it effectively requires intention and care. This interactive training explores ethical, purpose-driven story sharing through the lens of the Texas Peer Specialist Code of Ethics. Participants will learn practical strategies for sharing lived experience in ways that build hope, maintain boundaries, support emotional safety, and keep the focus on the person receiving support.
