
Recovery House Manager training
Recovery House Managers the primary direct support role within most recovery residences. This class includes 12 hours of online classroom training plus self paced learning modules.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to discuss the fundamental of being a recovery house manager, including the six social model domains: home- and family-like environment, peer governance, peer leadership, staff role, recovery-oriented and community-oriented.
Instructors
Rachel Labus and Jenn Brown are both experience recovery housing owner/operators and house manager instructors.
Dates
Two Saturdays in a row:
- August 8th from 9AM to 4PM
- August 15th from 9AM to 4PM
There will an hour break for lunch. You must attend both days.
Class Size
Class size will be limited to 25 individuals.

The cost of this training is being underwritten by SAMHSA grant funding
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of Texas. Preference given to those with lived experience in recovery as well as those living or working in recovery housing.
