Course Objectives
Honoring ethical standards in peer support is vital to the health and well-being of not only the peer support specialist, but also the people they service. Adherence to recovery principles within the framework of ethical standards is key to success, providing guidelines for best practices while working with vulnerable people.
Peer support services delivered with fidelity across ethics and boundaries fosters a way to maintain safety and provide compassionate services. Knowing how to avoid ethical dilemmas supports this goal.
