Course Description:

This course is an introduction to recovery residences, which provide a vital service for initiating and sustaining long-term recovery. Many thousands exist in the United States. In 2010, the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) gathered industry leaders from across the United States. Through consensus building, they created a common nomenclature, identified four types or Levels of Support, defined fidelity standards, and offered an Affiliate certification program. By 2017, NARR had Affiliates and/or Associates in 25 States with several others under development.

This course consists of lessons, topic videos and a final knowledge assessment (quiz) that generates a certificate of completion.
