Jermaine has played an active role in advancing the peer workforce through statewide training and leadership initiatives. He began his journey in the inaugural TROHN Fellowship class in 2022, completing the Fundamentals of Being a Recovery House Manager program. By 2024, Jermaine became the first RecoveryPeople Texas consultant trainer to lead both the Fundamentals of Being a Recovery House Manager and Family Recovery Support classes. In 2025, he reached another milestone as the first TROHN and RecoveryPeople trainer to facilitate the Mental Health Peer Specialist training.

Guided by his favorite Carl Rogers quote – “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”- Jermaine approaches his work and life with authenticity, openness, and a deep respect for personal growth. Outside of work, he enjoys adventure dining, hiking, and creative writing as ways to nurture wellness and self-discovery.
