Elena Lightbourn is a person in long-term recovery from substance use and mental health challenges. She holds a BA in Visual Arts from Fordham University and is a Certified Community Health Worker. In her recent work, Elena has combined her bilingual communication skills, creative design abilities, and community organizing experience to connect people to transformative resources. Elena’s lived experience and professional training fuel her commitment to expanding access to recovery education support across Texas.
